Church is a great social place to learn good values, and meet others with similar views. On the other hand, folks have been told that they NEED to go to church, and the the church has secrets that you need to know, that only they can tell you…. and that you NEED church to experience fullness. Sorry, this is NOT TRUE. If you look at all the stories in the “book”, all the heroes found what they were looking for inside themselves. We are no different. They weren’t special, except perhaps they were in the right place at the right time with the right abilities. This is because we are all built COMPLETE. Our relationship to the Creator is inside of every one of us, and it is up to us to reach inside and experience it to the fullest. No amount of sermons or like-minded friends can do this for us. We must spend time each day in our own space, nurturing our inner person/relationship with the Creator. Then a person can read that book, and it comes to life with personal experience meaning.
