Are feelings really important?

So… this is not trying to downplay or say anything bad about feelings…. But in the overall scheme of things, are feelings what is most important?

We know that feelings are affected by life circumstances, hormones, the weather, how our relationships with other people are going… and if our overall sense of wellbeing is being affected by all these things, isn’t that why we feel great one day, and rotten the next day?

This thought is coming from the point of view of “the kingdom,” but can also be seen from our inner person or our inner guide… as the name we put on it is not as important as the wonderful inner reality each one of us has inside, freely endowed to us by the Life Source, and not conditionally present or not present for any reason other than if we ignore it.

If you realize the kingdom is inside you and that no life circumstances can affect this, then life stops being up and down, and your sense of well being becomes smooth and flowing. It is only when we don’t keep cognizant of this fact that we rely on feelings for our stability. Feelings are illusion.
