What’s going on?

In my and many others’ estimation, what we are seeing in the world is a shift away from organized religion, except possibly for Islam (because Islam offers some the sense of parental structure that they lose from leaving the teachings of their parents… and MOST can’t live without that structure in some format). Most of those folks don’t know what to do once they have exited the belief system they were brought up in. Science offers reality as an option, but lack of a structure to guide their life, and the concept of an afterlife and the fear of that unknown runs deep in western civilization. Most folks do not spend the time to extricate themselves from the indoctrination they received growing up, so they wander around in an inner desert and many are pulled in by ideologies that offer some sense of an answer to that inner void. 

If there is a great cataclysm that hits, there will be a huge resurgence of religion because that is where peoples’ minds turn to in times of crisis. Silly but true.

Seems as the present fad, woke culture, provides many folks some sort of set of concepts that make them not feel empty and aimless … humans are suckers for a good cause, and we have paid for this weakness many times in history. We will see how this round goes… but history repeats itself… so… we’ll see…🤠🪶 I wish everyone good luck.
