A final note… not the last post, but a final conclusion

Granted I am just one man,
but after watching this drama for over 69 years,
in my humble opinion, I am becoming aware
that there is no fixing the issues that humans
have created for themselves.
It has gone too far….
it is too messed up ….
It is a vehicle doing 100 miles per hour,
20 feet from a thick concrete wall.

That being said, there is only one thing ,
really, that we can do as individuals that
might be of any saving grace.
That is,in our own circle of acquaintances and friends:
– Be kind, without enabling others to continue in their selfishness and ignorance.
– Before judging someone else, walk a mile in their shoes.
– Treat others as you would have them treat you.
– Uphold the laws of society that protect “living together without harming each other”.
– Support penalties that support the rule of law.
– Take care of those who are under your care, again, without enabling them to continue in their selfishness and ignorance.

“All harmful words thoughts and acts
Ever committed by me since of old
On account of beginningless Greed, Anger and Ignorance.
Born of my body, mouth and mind.
Now I atone for them all.”
