The end of Chasm Theology

Memory of sitting in the sanctuary

doing zazen on a Monday night

In my minds eye,

seeing Jesus sitting across from me in a pew.

Wondering why he wouldn’t turn and look at me

When the dragons eye felt no such impediment……

Suddenly now it is like clear water………..

“If you choose to call him Joe

You are seeing the world with Joes eyes.”

It is impossible to turn and look at yourself….

We are all the universe feeling itself.

Paraphrased Paul says “It is not us, but Jesus looking out through our eyes.”

The Chasm is no more!

(Stripped the secret too bare, and it is a bit embarrassing)
