Although Woodstock was not attended by anyone I knew, we all were affected by the hippie generation and its thinking, by the music, by the drugs, by the icons created there……. in many ways, it is still our warcry……

  1. If I could go back in time to one event, it would absolutely be this one. I was so sad I was too young and too far away to get to Woodstock, but I was there in my head, for sure.

  2. Woodstock seems to have been the physical manifestation of our generations symbol of “the way we hoped things might be”. And the symbol has stayed in our hearts and minds for our whole lifetime. About as true of a statement as any child of flower power could utter…. imho 🙂
