Daily Practices

Daily Practices such as chanting, reciting sacred texts, prayer, “worship”, bowing down in humility, yoga, taking time for a daily quiet time such as meditation, the lighting of candles and incense, all can reconnect us to our inner wisdom guide. The urge to do so, found in all cultures of the world, is the inborn urge of our human inner life calling each of us “home”. This is the deeper meaning of the parable of “the Prodigal Son”. He leaves home, gets tied up in his adventures, realizes he is lost, admits to his ignorance, and returns home, only to find his father has been waiting for him the whole time. This is an ongoing cycle in all our lives. Our inner voice acts as our inner GPS system… always there… always true. Always calling all of its children back to themselves.

One source of all.
