Regarding Sexuality and Religious Leaders
The main issue regarding religious folks attitude towards their leaders, is that they believe that
sexual appetite is somehow diminished as the leaders climb the spiritual ladder. All religions have
predators running freely because of this way of putting their leaders on a pedestal, as the leaders can
take advantage of this way of looking at them.
This is a truth that no one wants to hear.
There is no level of “sainthood” that puts a person above sex cravings.
I have seen this problem in ALL religious groups, none are immune.
We are all, every one of us on an equal footing. It is basic nature.
Controlling ourselves is a moment by moment choice for everyone.
We either choose to be a better person, and care about others, or give in to our urges.
Reality is Dharma
