Cognitive Dissonance

Cognitive Dissonance – the meaning behind this term is especially important to the people of our current world, which is changing so rapidly in recent years. As we grow and change , our life experience grows with us. If our beliefs and our point of view do not grow to reflect this, we can end up living in an inner conflict and turmoil. In other words, this cognitive dissonance occurs because, when a persons beliefs about “the world” and that persons experienced reality are too different or too separated, they will experience this cognitive dissonance as deep anxiety and inner conflict.
