What if…..We were born, just simply biological beings…. its not too much of a stretch of our imagination…..
And what if…..We are born just a blank piece of paper…… no likes or dislikes….. no opinions…. its easy to see….
What if…..in the beginning of our lives, there is just freshness…. just newness……..
And what if…..We start to walk along the road of life, seeing things, feeling things, hearing things, tasting things, smelling things……
What if……..we begin to form likes and dislikes to everything we bump into…. we begin to form opinions….
What if….We begin doing or not doing things, based on those opinions…… making decisions based on all those opinions, likes and dislikes
What if……we start living our life based on those opinions.
What if….we begin to judge others based on those opinions…..
What if….We could call those opinions our beliefs… our beliefs about the world, and our own needs, our beliefs about if the world is giving us what we need……. and about what is good and bad…. (but really it is about what is good or bad to ME???)
What if….. we were to do a general housecleaning of our mind…….
What if….. we were to put all those likes and dislikes…. all those opinions… all those built up beliefs outside the door……
What if….. We were to consciously begin to look at everything JUST THE WAY IT IS…… with no opinions.
Would we be able to regain the freshness and newness we had when our life on this earth began?
